Our Brother Site Beginnings...

Way back when we launched Triathlon Toons. It was over two years ago. The site was started by the Captoon as a fun way to make caricatures for the triathlon sporting community. The captain started with a caricature of himself and his friend Rich. It was the first time they were doing a half Ironman race together in 20 years. To commemorate the event the captain had a couple of caricatures made and then made tee shirts. They celebrated post race with cigars and champagne. The shirts were a hit and every time the Captain and Rich have raced together since they wear the shirts with their caricatures on them, it's become tradition. People say, "hey I remember you guys, you raced here last year and wore those caricature shirts".
